Free Time

Ways to Spend Your Free Time

📚

Reading & Studying

The most popular way to spend free time. Many guests use it to study for exams, work on languages, or finally get through books they've been meaning to read. Our lounge holds about 200 titles — comics, novels, and health books — and Wi-Fi is available throughout.

🌿

Walking

Walking through the natural surroundings of Aichi Kogen Quasi-National Park, typically for one to two hours. The negative-ion-rich mountain paths further enhance the effects of fasting.

🏋️

Training

A small training room is equipped with a stationary bike and stretching mats — please use it at whatever pace feels comfortable.

💆

Relaxation

The relaxation room is furnished with a core-training rider machine, a premium massage chair, and comfortable seating. Many guests also bring work to do here.

Preparation

Before Your Stay

If possible, gradually reducing your food intake for three days before arrival makes fasting easier and enhances its effects. Guests prone to gastritis or excess stomach acid are encouraged to extend this light-eating period.

3 days beforeRice porridge (1 bowl) + miso soup + a light side dish, twice a day
2 days beforeRice porridge (1 bowl) + miso soup + a light side dish, twice a day
The day beforeRice porridge (about 70% of a full bowl) + miso soup
Morning of arrivalVegetable juice or fruit only

If possible, we recommend beginning this preparation a full week in advance — always within a comfortable range.
