Your Stay

Accommodation & Facilities

What is the minimum length of stay?
The minimum stay is 7 days. Longer stays of two weeks, three weeks, one month, or two months are also available.
Are there bathing or shower facilities?
There are no bathing or shower facilities on-site. We provide transport to the nearby Hotel Hyakunensou (bathing fee ¥300 / approx. $2 USD). Please note it is closed on Wednesdays. Since transport has usually finished by the time you check in on your first day, guests who wish to bathe that day are welcome to visit the hotel before arriving at our facility.
What are the toilet facilities like?
All toilets are equipped with washlets. Depending on the room, facilities are either shared among 2–4 guests or attached directly to your room.
Can I go out or stay elsewhere overnight during my visit?
That is no problem at all, as long as you let us know in advance. Overnight stays elsewhere during a longer program are also possible — please feel free to discuss this with us.
Is alcohol or smoking permitted?
Alcohol is not permitted. A designated smoking area is available on-site; please refrain from smoking in your room.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: Guests arriving by car should plan to arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Guests arriving by bus will be met at 3:20 pm at the Meitetsu Asuke bus stop.
Check-out: Guests departing by car typically leave around 10:30 am. Guests departing by bus leave the facility at 10:15 am to catch the 10:47 am bus from Asuke, arriving at Nagoya Station before 1:00 pm.
Are bed linens provided?
Yes, we provide professionally laundered bed linens for every stay.
Can I tour the facility before booking?
Tours are available with advance notice. Since staff are sometimes away from the facility, please be sure to call ahead before visiting.

About Fasting

Fasting Programs

What types of fasting programs are offered?
We offer water fasting, enzyme fasting, and partial fasting (small portions of brown rice and miso soup), tailored to each guest's needs and condition. After you arrive, our staff will consult with you individually, and your plan can be adjusted at any time.
Will I receive guidance during my fast?
Our staff, who bring 25 years of experience guiding fasting programs, offer individual consultations covering fasting, physical condition, daily life, and general health. We also hold optional health seminars twice a week, starting around 9:00 am.
Can I participate if I'm taking medication?
Depending on your medication, a gentler fasting approach may be more suitable. Please discuss your situation with our staff upon arrival.
Will I regain the weight afterward?
With enzyme fasting, continuing the enzyme lifestyle after your program helps minimize rebound and maintain your results. We guide every guest through a gentle fasting and recovery process designed to make lasting change easier.
Is fasting a spiritual experience?
For many guests, yes. The gut and brain are closely connected, and much of the body's serotonin, a chemical linked to mood and well-being, is produced in the gut. Resting the digestive system through fasting often leaves people feeling calmer, clearer, and more centered, part of why fasting can feel like a mental and spiritual reset, not only a physical one.
